The Mission of College Players

Drama of every particular age in history reflects the attitudes and characteristics of those people. The theatre provides a looking glass in which the community can reflect seriously, and certainly humorously, upon itself.

On a smaller scale, the theatre provides a creative and refreshing release from the day to day grind of a job, going to school or most commonly for us, both. The stage provides a medium where a person can escape into a fantasy world for a few hours, forgetting all the problems and responsibilities of our "real" world.

The Florida Tech College Players is one of the few creative, humanistic organizations on a primarily technical campus. The College Players is a totally student run organization whose financial support is gained from community businesses, our advertisers, the Student Activities Fund, and, most importantly, you - our audience.

The Florida Tech College Players is proud to extend to our college campus and community our talents on the stage and in the theatre.
