College Players Annual Awards

Each year the members of College Players choose several members that have contributed to the organization. The following is a list of the usual awards, and their descriptions.

College Player of the Year this award goes to the member who was contributed the most during the school year. This person was active within the organization both during show time and "down" time, and has been a proven leader in the organization. The person has both knowledge of the theater and the ability and willingness to convey that knowledge.

Most Dedicated this person has gone above and beyond the call of duty in service of College Players. They have given completely of themselves to further the goals of the organization.

The "Unsung Hero" Award this award goes to the person who has contributed greatly to the organization while receiving little or no recognition. They have worked diligently out of the spotlight while asking nothing in return.

Most Active New Member this person, either a freshman or someone else new to College Players this school year, has gotten involved and demonstrated leadership abilities within the organization. They have learned the workings of College Players, and have brought new insights in.

Most Active Member this person, someone who has been invovled in College Players this school year and in the past, has been involved and demonstrated leadership abilities within the organization. They have learned the workings of College Players, and have brought new insights in.

Tribute to Graduating Senior this award recognizes the senior individual who has given the most to College Players during his/her time in the organization. The have been a respected leader in the organization, and have contributed greatly during this year as well as in the past.
