It's a somewhat stormy evening at the posh mansion of Lord and Lady Wickenham. A number of colorful guests are scheduled to arrive any moment for a pleasant dinner party. The hired help is hardly helpful, the master of the house has serious objections to the entire ordeal, and none of the guests are who they appear to be. Oh, and to make the evening complete, the storm causes a blackout... and one of the party doesn't come back up breathing. It's up to the somewhat brilliant Inspector Braddock and his sidekick the somewhat brilliant Inspector Braddock and his sidekick Sergeant Threedle to figure out exactly what did happen.
